John and Daralena Bean live
in Springfield, Missouri with their five children. They
came to Springfield in 1992 and planted a church in
which they pastored for 15 years. After ministering in
Germany in 2001, God began to burden the Bean’s for the
people of Central Europe. John was invited to minister
in the Czech Republic in 2007, where God once again
confirmed his call on their lives for foreign missions.
The Beans have been assigned to the Central European
country of Slovakia. They will be
living in the capital city of Bratislava and will be
working with the National Church in various outreaches
including church planting, street evangelism and
compassion ministries.
John has a Bachelor’s Degree
in Elementary Education and completed his
Masters of Divinity at the Assemblies of God Theological
Seminary in the fall of 2008. He loves to spend time
with his family, study history and read theology.
Daralena is a credentialed
minister with the Assemblies of God and also has a
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She has home
educated for 18 years and taught in both private and
public education. Daralena loves to teach children of
all ages and minister to women. She loves to do
scrapbooking, decorating, and is most fulfilled when she
is spending time with her husband and five children. |
